Welcome to Community and Congregational Care

Life Spring's Community and Congregational Care team welcomes you! We know that life is full of challenges and we want to be here to help you through those times of need.

Our Care Team members are followers of Jesus and are committed to expressing God's care through "serving one another in love" - Gal 5:13 and carrying out Jesus' word to "care one for another" - 1 Cor 12:25

We are here to assist you in navigating life's challenges!

  • Do you have trouble saying no?
  • Can you set limits and still be a loving person?
  • Are you in control of your life?
  • What are legitimate boundaries?
  • Do people take advantage of you?
  • How do you answer someone who wants your time, love, energy, and money?

This 9 session DVD/Discussion group offers Biblically based answers to these tough questions and shows you how to set healthy boundaries with your parents, spouses, children, friends, coworkers, and even yourself.

"I’ve been recommending Boundaries to friends, team members and radio listeners for more than twenty years. In fact, hardly a day goes by when I don’t use something that I learned from this book. The principles are timeless, and the updates in this version make Boundaries even more relevant to readers and their relationships."

Diabetes Awareness Health Talk

To raise awareness about diabetes and healthy living, Life Spring Community Church and its Congregational Care Team are proudly participating in American Diabetes Month.

Diabetes is one of the leading causes of disability and death in the United States.

One in 10 Americans have diabetes — that’s more than 30 million people

Another 84 million adults in the United States are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

The good news is that making healthy changes can greatly lower your risk.

Join us on October 13th from 12:15pm to 1:30pm on the Life Spring Patio

for a Health Talk on the Awareness and Prevention of Diabetes

    Lunch will be provided.

Ways our Care Team can Help

We are here to help our Congregation and our Community in a number of ways. If you'd like more information, please contact the church office at (805)523-0050 or our Care Team Coordinator, Lisa Dyck at (805)210-1869.

  • Prayer

As followers of Jesus we believe in the power of prayer. Our prayer team is here and ready to pray for you. Every Sunday members of our team are ready to pray with you during worship. You are also welcome to submit a written prayer request (anonymously if you'd like) and our team will pray for you.

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." - 1Peter 5:7

  • Illness and recovery visits

During times of illness and recovery, team members strive to visit those at home and those hospitalized to pray with them and bring hope and peace during these stressful and trying times.

  • counseling

There are times in life when we just do not know what to do. We've tried everything we know to do and yet we continue to struggle. From marriage difficulties to parenting concerns, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, sometimes we need to "Carry each other's burdens.." - Gal 6:2. Our team can offer professionally licensed, Christ-Centered counseling for individuals, couples and families.
